Davíð Oddsson

Davíð is an experienced conservative politician who has served as Mayor of Reykjavik, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Iceland, Governor of the Central Bank and is currently Editor of a leading national newspaper.

He was described by The Economist in a 2001 profile as a “hardened Eurosceptic” and has commented in a recent interview “…If you are defending Islam, it means you are accepting this limited and extremist belief which is mostly controlled by fanatical men.”
